To help the approval of your application, if possible:
- register using your work email address
- register from your workplace
If we do not recognise your email address or the location that you’re registering from, an
NHS OpenAthens administrator will need to assess your details and decide whether you meet the eligibility criteria.
To enter your organisation, please start typing the name of your organisation in the box. Wait a couple of seconds
for a list of options to appear, and then click on the appropriate option to select it. Not every organisation is
listed, as some are grouped together by region. If you work for a GP practice or Integrated Care Board, or a public
health or social care organisation, try typing the name of your organisation first. If nothing relevant appears in the
list of options, try entering your type of organisation and your region, for example:
- Primary care North or ICB Surrey
- Social care Midlands
- Public health London
- Dentists South West
This helps to speed up the approval process, and makes sure you get access to all the resources available to you.
If you can’t find an appropriate organisation from the drop-down list offered, please type the name of your organisation
into the box. You’ll be asked to add your region, and your application will then be passed to an administrator to assess.
